What a GIF Booth does

The GIF Booth uses the same slim touchscreen hardware as our LCD SlimPod, a 1.80 metre upright stand with an iPad-based screen, camera and LED lighting, but leaves out the printer. What remains is a fast, clean, digital-only booth built for content. Guests choose a GIF, a boomerang or a still, the countdown runs, and the clip plays back on screen within a second or two.

After the shot, the booth shows a QR code and an email field. Guests scan or type, and the file arrives on their phone ready to post, with your animated overlay already applied. There is nothing to collect at the end of the night and nothing to lose on the way home.

Delivery to the phone, not the printer

Every capture is delivered by email or QR code straight away, and guests can share to social media from the screen. Because there are no prints, there is no guest book with this booth; the output is entirely digital. After the event we supply digital copies of everything captured, which for a brand activation means a ready-made library of user-generated content with your overlay on every file.

If you want paper as well, the LCD SlimPod runs on the same hardware with a printer added, and plenty of clients book one of each for a large event. Running the two side by side gives guests a choice between a print for the fridge and a clip for their feed, and the branding stays consistent across both.

Footprint and placement: 1.5m by 2m

The stand measures 1.80m high, 0.36m wide and 0.59m deep, and with no printer case beside it the booth needs only a 1.5 metre by 2 metre area including the space guests stand in. One standard plug socket is enough. This is the lowest footprint of anything we offer, which is why it ends up on exhibition stands, in shop windows, in hotel foyers and at pop-up events where every square metre is spoken for.

Position it where the light is even and the background is either a plain wall or your branded backdrop. With smart background removal you can also let the software do the work: it lifts guests out of whatever is behind them and places them in a digital scene, no green screen required, so a busy exhibition hall can become a product shot or a city skyline.

Guests per session and throughput

Up to six people fit in a frame. Sessions are quick because there is no print to wait for; from tapping the screen to scanning the QR code takes well under a minute, so a busy hour can see fifty or more groups come through. At a conference or brand activation that pace matters, because the queue is often made up of people on a short break between sessions.

Animated overlays, backgrounds and branding

The centrepiece of the branding is a custom animated overlay: a frame, logo animation or campaign message that plays over every GIF and boomerang. We build it from your brand assets and send it for approval before the event. The start screen, the email that delivers the file and the digital backgrounds all carry the same identity, so every share on social media is on-brand without anyone having to think about it.
