How the 360 Booth works
A 360 Booth is not a booth in the traditional sense. There is no cabinet and no screen to pose at. Instead, guests stand on a circular platform while a camera mounted on a rotating arm travels around them, filming in slow motion. The attendant starts the spin, guests move, dance or hold a pose, and the arm completes its circuit in a few seconds.
The footage is then processed on site with music, a slow-motion effect and your overlay, and played back on screen so guests can watch themselves before sharing. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes from stepping on to video on phone, and the spectacle of the arm sweeping round draws a crowd of its own.
What you get with the hire
Every 360 Booth booking includes a professional attendant who runs the platform and looks after guests during the spin, free delivery, setup and pack-down, unlimited sessions during the hire, props, LED lighting, a custom overlay with your text and logo, instant digital sharing and public liability insurance. Because the output is video rather than prints, there is no printer or guest book with this booth.

Space, power and placement
The platform and the rotating arm need a clear circle of floor around them, plus room for the screen and for guests waiting. Rather than quote a figure here that might not suit your venue, we confirm the exact space and power requirements for the room at quote stage, once we know the venue and where the booth will stand. Tell us about ceiling height, flooring and the location of sockets and we will advise.
Flat, level flooring is important for the platform. Dance floors, hard floors and well-boarded marquee floors all work; deep carpet and uneven ground do not. Give the booth a position where the spinning arm has nothing to catch on, away from tables, chairs and cabling, and ideally where the crowd can gather on one side to watch.
Guests on the platform and session pace
The platform is designed for small groups rather than crowds; the attendant will advise on how many can stand together safely, which depends on the venue and the mix of guests. A session, from stepping up to sharing the clip, takes around two minutes because the video has to render, so plan for roughly twenty-five to thirty groups an hour. For large events we recommend a longer hire or pairing it with a print booth so nobody misses out.
Video output and sharing
Each session produces a short slow-motion video with music and overlay, delivered to guests digitally for immediate sharing to social media or by email. There are no prints. After the event you receive digital copies of every clip, which for corporate bookings means a bank of branded video content that guests have already helped to promote.
Overlays, music and branding
The overlay sits on every clip and can carry names, a date, a hashtag or a logo. Music can be chosen to suit the event, from a wedding first-dance track to a brand's campaign audio. The start page on the screen carries your artwork, and props are included for guests who want something to wave at the camera as it passes.
- Custom video overlay with names or logo
- Music chosen for the event
- Branded start screen
- Slow-motion effect on every clip
- Props included
- Hashtag prompts for sharing
Events, pricing and booking
Weddings, Asian weddings, proms and corporate launches are the big four for the 360 Booth, with milestone birthdays close behind. Anywhere guests are dressed up and in the mood to move, the platform fills quickly, and the clips tend to be shared before the night is over.
360 photo booth hire is priced from £299. An £80 deposit secures the date, the balance is due one month before, and we confirm availability within 24 hours. Our team arrives 45 to 60 minutes before the hire window to set up at no extra charge. Because space and power are confirmed per venue, send us the venue name and we will reply with exact requirements alongside your quote. We are rated 5 stars on Trustpilot.

360 Booth Hire FAQs
How much space does the 360 Booth need?
It needs a clear area around the platform for the rotating arm, plus room for the screen and the queue. The exact floor space, ceiling height and power requirements are confirmed for your venue at quote stage, so send us the room details and we will tell you precisely what to allow.
Can it be used outdoors?
Only in a marquee or covered area with a flat, level floor and mains power nearby. The camera, screen and platform must stay dry, and the arm needs a stable surface to rotate on. Grass, gravel and sloping ground are not suitable.
Can it go upstairs?
Often, yes, though the platform and arm are bulkier than a slim pod. Tell us about stairs, lifts and doorway widths when you enquire and we will confirm whether the room is practical and allow the extra setup time needed.
Does it need a green screen?
No. The 360 Booth films guests against the real room, which is part of the appeal: the spinning shot shows the venue, the lights and the crowd behind them. Overlays, music and the slow-motion effect are added in software without any green screen.
How do guests get their video?
Each clip is shared digitally straight from the screen, by email or to social media, moments after the spin. You also receive digital copies of every video after the event, so there is a full set for your own channels or the wedding album.
Can we add extra hours?
Where the attendant has no later booking, extra time can normally be added at the rate agreed when you booked. Because each session takes around two minutes, large guest lists usually benefit from booking a longer hire from the start.
