Along the Thames between Windsor and Reading there are hotels and restaurants with terraces over the water, popular for summer weddings and anniversary dinners. Windsor and Ascot bring grand country houses and estate venues, often with ballrooms and long gravel approaches. Further west, the farmland around Newbury, Thatcham and Hungerford is dotted with converted barns and farm venues that suit rustic styling.

The business parks of Reading, Bracknell and Slough generate a steady stream of corporate work: product launches, awards nights, summer socials and Christmas parties held in conference centres and hotel function suites. Golf clubs across the county, village halls in the smaller communities and school halls for proms round out the picture.

Towns and roads we cover

Reading and Slough are busy enough for us that each has its own page with local parking and venue notes. Between and around them we set up regularly in Windsor, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot and Sandhurst, with Newbury, Thatcham and Hungerford covered to the west of the county.

The M4 is the spine of most Berkshire journeys, with M25 junction 15 linking us to Slough and Windsor and the A329 carrying us between Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell. Newbury-area venues are reached via the A34. Wherever the venue sits, delivery and setup are already included in the package price.

Planning notes for Berkshire weddings, corporate events and parties

Slough and Reading both have large South Asian communities, and Asian weddings are a big part of our Berkshire calendar. For these events we recommend placing the booth away from the stage and near the entrance to the hall, so guests can use it during the arrival period and again after dinner. Print templates can carry both English and Punjabi, Gujarati or Urdu text, and our attendant is used to managing a lively queue of several hundred guests.

Corporate bookings at Reading and Bracknell business parks usually want a logo on every print, a branded overlay on the GIFs and a digital gallery delivered afterwards for internal communications. Proms in Bracknell, Maidenhead and Wokingham schools run early in the evening, so we schedule setup during the afternoon. Birthday parties and Christmas parties in village halls and golf clubs are the most relaxed of the lot, and the LCD SlimPod or Retro Pod usually fits the budget and the room.

Access, power and setup on the day

Hotels along the Thames often have underground or limited parking, so we ask in advance where the loading entrance is and whether a goods lift is available. Country houses near Windsor and Ascot tend to have long gravel drives; we unload at the nearest door and carry the kit in on trolleys. Barns around Newbury can have uneven stone floors, which is fine provided there is a level two-metre area for the booth.

Setup takes between 45 minutes and an hour before the hire window opens and is not charged as hire time. Every booth bar the Inflatable Booth runs from one standard socket. For marquees on country estates, a reliable 13A supply is essential; if the marquee company is supplying a generator, please confirm it is rated for lighting and catering as well as the booth, and we will liaise with them directly if that helps.
