Luton and Dunstable host some of the busiest South Asian wedding calendars in the East of England. Banqueting suites there can seat several hundred guests, so planners usually want a booth with capacity: the Inflatable Booth takes up to ten people at once, and the Magic Mirror handles eight. For multi-day celebrations we can quote for the mehndi, the wedding and the reception separately, with a different print template for each occasion, and the attendant keeps the queue moving at the busiest moments.

Across the rest of the county, weddings tend to be held in country house hotels, converted barns and the larger village halls between Ampthill and Biggleswade. Our advice for those is to place the booth within sight of the bar or the dance floor rather than in a side room, because a visible booth gets used far more. Getting in, setting up and powering the booth

Banqueting suites usually have a dedicated loading entrance and a goods lift, and our attendant will liaise with the venue manager on arrival. Country barns and village halls are a different story: expect gravel drives, a couple of steps at the door and sometimes a single socket in the whole hall. We carry extension leads and a levelling base, so an uneven flagstone floor is manageable. Upstairs rooms are fine where there is a lift or a reasonable staircase.

Setup takes about 45 to 60 minutes before your hire window begins and is not counted as hire time. If your reception is in a marquee, we need a reliable 13A supply, ideally not shared with the caterers' equipment, plus a flat, dry spot under cover. Tell us the surface and power situation when you book and we will match the booth to it.
