Northamptonshire is known for its country houses and estate barns, and a large share of the weddings we attend here take place in them. Expect sweeping drives, ballrooms with high ceilings and plenty of character, along with the occasional long walk from the car park. Around Northampton and Kettering, hotels and conference venues take care of corporate dinners, Christmas parties and larger Asian weddings, while banqueting halls in Northampton cater for celebrations of several hundred guests.

The Silverstone area draws motorsport-themed corporate hospitality and launches, where branded digital content is in demand. Across the rest of the county, village halls in and around Oundle, Towcester, Brackley and Desborough host birthdays, anniversaries and christenings, and the Rockingham Forest area adds woodland venues and farm barns to the list.

Northampton, Kettering, Corby and beyond

Regular destinations include Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley, Rushden, Oundle and Desborough, plus the villages between them. The M1 between junctions 15 and 16 brings us to Northampton and Daventry, the A43 links Towcester, Brackley and the Silverstone area, the A45 runs east to Wellingborough and Rushden, and the A14 serves Kettering, Corby and the north-east of the county. Weddings, Asian weddings and corporate events: planner notes

Country house weddings here often have a drinks reception on the lawn and the booth indoors for the evening, so we advise setting the hire window to open as guests move inside after the meal. Send us the names, date and any colour scheme and we will build the print template and share a proof.

Northampton's Asian wedding venues host receptions where several hundred guests want photos over a few hours. A high-capacity booth, an attendant managing the queue and a template carrying both families' names keep things flowing. For multi-day events, we quote each day separately with its own design, and the £80 deposit secures the dates.

Corporate clients book for awards nights, conference dinners, Silverstone-area hospitality and December parties, with a logo overlay and digital copies included. Proms from schools in Northampton, Kettering and Wellingborough arrive from late June, and the SlimPod or Party Booth suits most hotel function rooms used for them.

Access, setup and power across the county

Estate venues mean gravel drives, sometimes a long carry from the parking area and floors that are rarely level in older barns. Our attendant brings a trolley, a levelling base and extension leads to cope with all three. Upstairs function rooms in hotels and clubs are fine with a lift or a reasonable staircase for most models, though the Inflatable Booth should stay at ground level. A single standard socket powers most booths; the inflatable needs two.

We allow 45 to 60 minutes before the hire window for setup and testing, and that time is not charged as hire. Marquee receptions on country estates need a reliable 13A supply and a firm, dry floor under cover. Delivery and setup are included throughout Northamptonshire, and anything unusual about a venue is reflected on the quote before you commit.
