Why the 360 Booth books so well out east
Social-first events are East London's speciality, and the 360 Booth fits them perfectly: guests stand on a platform while a camera arm sweeps around them, producing slow-motion video with music and a branded overlay that is on their phones within seconds. It is a regular request for launches in Shoreditch, milestone birthdays in Hackney and Asian weddings in Ilford alike. Space and power requirements for the 360 vary by venue, so we confirm them with you at quote stage.
The GIF Booth is its digital-only cousin for brand activations where nobody wants paper. On the wedding side the Magic Mirror remains the favourite for banqueting-hall receptions in Redbridge and Havering, printing for every guest and handling eight people per shot, and the Inflatable Booth is the one to pick when you have a huge hall and a theme colour to match.
Warehouses, banqueting halls and docklands hotels
The venue mix across East London is wider than anywhere else in the capital. Hackney, Shoreditch and Bethnal Green have converted warehouses, railway arches and studio spaces with exposed brick and concrete floors; Canary Wharf, Stratford and the Royal Docks have hotels and conference venues built for corporate work; Ilford, Romford, Barking and Dagenham have big purpose-built banqueting halls; and every borough has community centres, school halls, sports clubs and church halls.
Warehouse venues look fantastic on camera but can be dark, which is why LED lighting is built into every booth we bring. They also tend to have goods lifts or ground-floor loading doors, so even the largest booths are rarely a problem.
Getting through the A12, A13 and into the building
Our routes into the east run along the A12 through Stratford and Leytonstone, the A13 past Canning Town and Barking, and the A406 round to Ilford and Romford, all of which are slow at the evening peak, so we build generous margins into arrival times. Canary Wharf estates and docklands hotels usually require a booked loading-bay slot and sometimes a vehicle registration; we sort both once the booking is confirmed. ULEZ applies across the area and is our cost, not yours.
Banqueting halls and community centres nearly always have a car park or service entrance for unloading. Upstairs rooms are rarer in the east, but where they exist without a lift, the LCD SlimPod, GIF Booth, Retro Pod and Selfie Mirror Pod can be carried up, while the Magic Mirror, Party Booth and Inflatable Booth need a lift or ground floor. We need a single standard socket, or two for the Inflatable, and set up in 45 to 60 minutes before the hire starts, which is not charged as hire time.
- Loading bay slots booked for Canary Wharf and docklands venues
- ULEZ covered by us
- Lift or ground-floor access for the three heaviest booths
- One socket, or two for the Inflatable Booth
- 45 to 60 minutes setup, outside your paid hire time
Asian weddings, launches and Christmas parties
Asian weddings are a large share of our East London bookings, especially in Ilford, Newbury Park, Barking and Romford, and the planning advice is simple: tell us which events the booth is for, because a mehndi, a reception and a walima all have different rooms, guest counts and finish times. Prints with the couple's names and the date in your chosen colours are included, and the attendant keeps the queue moving when 400 guests arrive at once.
Corporate Christmas parties in Canary Wharf and Stratford book up from September. Product launches and agency parties in Shoreditch tend to want the GIF Booth or 360 for instant content. Proms for schools in Newham, Waltham Forest and Redbridge mostly land in late June, and birthdays run from children's parties in community centres in Leyton and Walthamstow to 40ths in Hackney bars.
Boroughs and districts we cover east of the City
East London on this site means Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham, Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham and Havering. The districts we visit most are Shoreditch, Bethnal Green, Canary Wharf, Stratford, Hackney, Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Ilford, Romford, Barking, Dagenham, Hornchurch and Upminster. Venues across the Essex border in Brentwood, Epping and Loughton are covered by our Essex page, but they are a short run up the A12 or M11 for us.
Venues close to the City, in Shoreditch and Aldgate, are listed under both Central and East London; the service and the pricing are identical, so pick whichever page reads most naturally for your venue. Either way, one enquiry is enough and we will confirm the details.

Photo Booth Hire in East London: Local FAQs
Where do you unload at a banqueting hall in Ilford or Romford?
Almost all of them have a car park or a service entrance, and we unload straight into the hall from there. For venues on busy high streets with no forecourt, we unload at the kerb, move the kit inside on trolleys and park the van nearby for the evening.
Our venue is upstairs in a railway arch with no lift. What can you bring?
The LCD SlimPod, GIF Booth, Retro Pod and Selfie Mirror Pod all go up stairs without trouble. The Magic Mirror, Party Booth and Inflatable Booth need a lift or ground-floor access. Tell us about the staircase when you enquire and we will recommend the right option for the room.
Is there a travel charge for Romford, Upminster or Hornchurch?
No. Delivery, setup and pack-down are included throughout East London, Havering included. Should a travel contribution ever apply to a far-flung venue, it is shown on the quote up front rather than appearing later.
Can the booth run late at an Asian wedding reception?
Yes. Receptions in Ilford, Barking and Romford often finish after midnight, and we quote the hire window to match the real finish time rather than a standard slot. Check that the venue allows suppliers to pack down at that hour and let us know.
What does a Canary Wharf office need from you before the event?
Usually a booked loading-bay slot, our vehicle registration and a copy of our public liability insurance. We supply all three once the booking is confirmed, so pass us the building manager's contact details and we will deal with them directly.
How much space does the 360 Booth need?
The 360 Booth needs a clear area for the platform and the rotating camera arm, plus room for guests to queue safely. We confirm the exact space and power requirements for your venue at quote stage, so send us the room dimensions and a photo if you can.
