Covering Bromley, Beckenham, Orpington and beyond

The London Borough of Bromley is the largest in the capital by area, and we work across the whole of it: Bromley town itself, Beckenham, Orpington, Chislehurst, Petts Wood, West Wickham, Hayes, Penge and out to Biggin Hill on the Kent edge, as well as the Crystal Palace side of the borough. Bromley forms part of our South East London coverage, and because the borough borders the Sevenoaks district, venues just across the county line in Kent are no trouble either.

The A21 and A232 carry most of our journeys through the borough, with the M25 at junction 4 serving the southern villages. Free delivery and setup apply to every booking, and Bromley sits comfortably inside our regular patch, so there is no travel surcharge to think about. In the unlikely event a far-flung venue ever needed a travel contribution, it would be written on the quote before you decide.

Weddings, big birthdays and proms

Bromley's events tend to be family-led. Suburban weddings at golf clubs, hotels and church halls, often with a reception of 80 to 150 guests, are the staple, followed by 40th and 50th birthdays in pub function rooms and hired halls. School proms arrive in a rush in late June and early July, usually at hotels or golf clubs with a strict finish time, so an early booking for those dates is sensible.

A few planning points help. For weddings, schedule the booth to open after the meal and run through the first hour or two of dancing, when guests are relaxed and the room is dim enough for the LED lighting to flatter. For a milestone birthday, a personalised print template with the guest of honour's name and the date turns each strip into a party favour. For proms, the attendant keeps the queue moving and the school's chosen template goes on every print.

  • Weddings: open the booth after speeches for the best turnout
  • 40th and 50th birthdays: name and date on every print
  • Proms: book early and agree the finish time with the venue
  • Christmas parties: a themed overlay and festive props

The booths Bromley customers pick most

The Magic Mirror is the most requested booth for Bromley weddings. Its full-length interactive screen looks the part in a hotel ballroom or a golf club lounge, takes up to eight guests per shot and prints a copy for each of them. The Party Booth, an enclosed curtained booth, is a favourite for birthdays because people behave differently behind a curtain and the results are funnier for it.

For proms and school events, the Selfie Mirror Pod gives a mirror-style experience in a slimmer footprint and prints instantly for every guest, which matters when a hundred teenagers want their photo in the same hour. All three run from a single plug socket, and the pods will fit through a standard doorway without any dismantling.

Venues around the borough

Bromley is well served with venues that suit a booth. Golf clubs with function suites are common across the borough and tend to have generous car parks and ground-floor rooms. Hotels in and around the town centre handle larger weddings and corporate dinners. Church halls, community centres and school halls host birthdays and fundraisers, and many pubs have an upstairs or rear function room, which is where a stair-friendly booth earns its keep. Towards Biggin Hill and the Kent border there are country-edge venues with marquee lawns and barns.

Parking, unloading and setup

Most Bromley venues have their own car park, so we usually drive to the nearest door, unload and move the vehicle. In the town centre, where parking is tighter, we use the venue's loading bay or a short-stay bay close to the entrance; if your venue has a specific delivery entrance, let us know and we will use it. Upstairs function rooms are common in pubs, so mention any stairs at booking and we will send a booth that two people can carry.

Our attendant arrives about an hour before the hire starts. Building the booth normally takes 45 to 60 minutes, none of which is charged as hire, and one standard socket near the booth position is the only thing we need from the venue. Pack-down is quick and quiet once the hire ends.

What is included and how to book

Packages start at £299 and include the attendant, props, a custom print template with your names or logo, unlimited sessions, digital copies, email and social sharing, LED lighting, a guest book on print booths and public liability insurance. An £80 deposit holds the date and the balance is due one month before the event. Green screen can be added on request, and we are rated 5 stars on Trustpilot.

Good to know

Photo Booth Hire in Bromley: Local FAQs

Where will you park and unload at a Bromley venue?

Wherever the venue prefers. Golf clubs, hotels and halls across the borough almost always have a car park beside the function room, so we unload at the nearest door and move the vehicle. For town-centre venues we agree a loading bay or short-stay spot in advance.

The function room is upstairs in a pub. Is that a problem?

Not at all, as long as we know in advance. The LCD SlimPod, Retro Pod and Selfie Mirror Pod can all be carried up a flight of stairs by two people. Tell us about the stairs when you book and we will recommend the right booth for the room.

Do you charge for travel to Bromley?

No. Delivery, setup and pack-down are included in the price, and Bromley is well within our regular area. If any travel contribution ever applied to a far-flung venue, it would be shown clearly on the quote up front rather than added later.

Can the school approve the print design before a prom?

Yes. We send a proof of the print template, usually with the school crest, prom year and a colour that matches the theme, for the organiser to sign off before the night. The same design goes on every print and on the digital copies shared afterwards.

How much space does the booth need in a hall or function room?

The slim pods need around 1.5 metres by 2 metres of floor, the Magic Mirror and Selfie Mirror Pod need a 2-metre square, and the Party Booth needs 2.5 metres square with a ceiling of at least 2.4 metres. All of them need one standard plug socket within reach.
